Easter 2026 - Week 3 - Day 5

Friday — A Global People

Revelation 7:9
“A great multitude… from every nation…”

Genesis 22:18
“In your offspring all nations shall be blessed.”

The Ending We’re Headed Toward
Revelation gives us the end of the story. Not one culture taking over. Not uniformity.
But a multitude.

Different languages.
Different faces.
One worship.

That vision moves me every time. It's truly unity without erasure

Notice what remains: tribes and languages. God doesn’t flatten difference. He redeems it.
That means heaven won’t look like my comfort zone. And honestly? That’s good for me.

Living Ahead of Time
The church is supposed to look like that future — even now.  I spoke to this last week regarding living into Paul's Letter to the Ephesians... That world.

When we worship alongside people who vote differently, look different, or come from different backgrounds… we are practicing eternity.

That’s not always easy. But it is kingdom work.

Prayer
Lord of all nations,
Prepare us for the global family we are becoming.
Keep us from shrinking Your kingdom
to what feels familiar.
Amen.

Week 3 — Closing Reflection
Sorry these were so short - I wil try to make it up to you next week. I will be back in Coldspring.

Yet - hopefully, this week reframed your imagination.
The kingdom is not about dominance. It is about restoration.
It is not about borders. It is about allegiance.

And here’s my takeaway this week:
I am far more comfortable with a Savior than I am with a King.

But resurrection doesn’t give me that option. Jesus is both.

Next week we go higher.

Week 4 — The Enthroned King.  ... And that might stretch us even more.
