DAY 20 — JOY IN GOD’S PRESENCE
Scripture: Psalm 16:11
“In Your presence there is fullness of joy…”
A pastor in South Korea once asked members of his congregation to describe the happiest moment of their faith. Many expected dramatic testimonies, but most answers were simple:
• “Sitting quietly before God after a long day.”
• “Singing one hymn that always makes me cry.”
• “Reading Scripture before my kids wake up.”
• “Whispering ‘thank You’ at night.”
Their joy wasn’t tied to events — it was tied to presence.
Reflection:
Deep joy is found not in circumstances but in communion with God.
How might you make space to be intentionally present with Him?
Prayer:
Lord, draw me close.
Let me find the fullness of joy that comes from being with You. Amen.
