Day 7 — God Still Teaches Hearts

Scripture: Isaiah 2:3
“He will teach us his ways, and we will walk in his paths.”
True Story:

In 2004, an 84‑year‑old Kenyan woman named Kimani Ng’ang’a Maruge enrolled in first grade when her country announced free primary education.

Wearing her school uniform proudly, she walked miles each day to learn the alphabet, arithmetic, and, finally, to read the Bible.

She became a national symbol of determination, eventually addressing the United Nations on the right to education. When asked why she started school so late in life, she said, “My heart is still young enough to learn. God is not finished teaching me.”

Reflection:
A teachable heart is one of God’s greatest gifts. There is no age, stage, or season in which He cannot shape us, instruct us, or reveal new depths of His love.

Where is God inviting you to become teachable again?

Prayer:
Lord, keep my heart humble, open, and willing to learn Your ways.
Teach me to walk in Your paths with joy and obedience.
