DAY 16 — THE JOY OF FINDING WHAT WAS LOST
Scripture: Luke 15:6–7
“Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep that was lost… there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents…”

In 2013, a woman in California lost her wedding ring while hiking. She searched for hours, then days, then eventually gave up. The ring had been her grandmother’s — irreplaceable.
Seven years later, a man using a metal detector found something glinting beneath the soil. When he read the engraving inside, he took to social media to find the owner.

Within 48 hours, the ring was back on the woman’s finger. She wept and said, “There is no joy like the joy of something precious being found again.”

Her husband added, “It wasn’t just a ring. It was a miracle of mercy.”

Reflection:
Jesus says heaven erupts with joy when what is lost is found.
Where might God be seeking to restore something lost in your life?

Good Shepherd, find what is lost in me.
Bring restoration, healing, and the joy of being found.
